FRACTAL MUSIC is formed by Francisco Moreno and Miguel Vallejo, both lifelong musicians.
Miguel, guitarist, backed by a solid classical education at his city’s conservatory, and completed in Barcelona, at the Taller de Musics school, where he completed his studies on modern harmony and jazz.
Francisco, early self-taught pianist, started forming himself when he was 8, after receiving a keyboard from his parents. Since then, he hasn’t stopped learning: he has read, he has taken classes, and, avobe all, he has practiced and experimented.
Both have been part of several formations. From those, Miguel gained recognition nationally as guitarist for Destilería Hiperbórea and Mistos Garibaldi, publishing different albums during the eighties. On the other hand, Francisco, specially in the nineties, collaborated with a variety of local groups.
After all those solo adventures, a strong, twenty-year-old friendship pulls them together. During those years, they continued pursuing their other passion as public school music teachers, never forsaking their dream of creating new art. The failure of their first attempt to form a new Pop group, due to domestic obstacles, was not enough of a setback to prevent their pursuit.
With renewed energies, Miguel, soon joined by Francisco, decided to seek oportunities inside Media Music to continue their career as musicians.
Thus, a new formation period begun for them, during which they have passed recognized courses such as Hans Zimmer’s Masterclass on Film Scoring, Music Theory and Composition Master, and Soundtrack Orquestation, from the Cinematic Composing School from Los Angeles, California.
